The courses you enroll in will help your skill level, as will reading this, but when it's all said and done none of that is important. The things that really makes a difference is your consistency and persistence; you could have all the tools in the world but if your not consistent than you are not going to see a result. You can get started at a few different places when becoming an affiliate marketer. ClickBank seems to be the best options because of there footprint within the community. Some other great companies are commission junction and Google AdSense even offers an affiliate program. The cool thing about all these is that they are free to sign up for. Even though it's free and that's exciting if you don't put the time in than you will not go far. If you know that time equals earnings and you aren't putting enough time in, how else will you become successful at this? Your affiliate marketing strategy along with your earnings will be strengthened by the amount of time and effort you put in. Now once you are a member at ClickBank than you'll want to click on the link at the top of the home page that is titled "Marketplace". On that page you will find vendors products that you can make money selling as an affiliate. When picking a product it's important to choose something that you are interested in, because if not than you won't be able to write about it.

OK, I have the link...now what?

Your all signed up for ClickBank now. {Good. Now you are presented with this link (kind of like your magic dust).| Awesome. Now you are faced with this long link sort of like magic). You can post this link on your blog, website, or sometimes even social network. Your only going to see results if you market the heck out of that link. You shouldn't treat this any differently than owning your own company and making a successful marketing plan. First, make a website or blog that focuses only on your product. So if the product you chose was called JackleJerries Cat Foot Scrub, than you would want to put your effort into marketing "Cat Foot Scrub" as opposed to JackleJerries. The reason is that it is highly unlikely anyone will search for the product directly. They will almost always search for a specific set of keywords. When you have your website set up with a good amount of content than you will be faced with a choice: Search Engine Optimization or Pay-Per-Click. I wouldn't recommend spending too much money on your affiliate marketing strategy or seo courses. Most of the knowledge that you need can be discovered with Bing or Google search. There are many free tutorials out there to get you started on the right foot. When I started learning all this a few months ago I bought The ClickBank Code by Mike Jones.
